PCB purchasers often don't know how the price of PCB is composed when they purchase PCB! It is not convenient for inquiry and purchase, here is a brief introduction of the basic elements of the price of circuit board! Of course, according to the process and materials of each PCB Factory, the price of each factory is also different. As far as the board material is concerned, the main factors affecting the price are as follows:

1. Board Material: FR-4, CEM-3, which are our common used in double-sided and multi-layer boards. Their prices are also related to the thickness of the board and the thickness of the copper foil in the middle of the board.  
2. Board thickness: its thickness we commonly have: 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0, 3.4, and the price difference of our conventional board thickness is not very big.
3. The thickness of copper also affects the price. The thickness of copper is generally divided into 0.5oz, 1oz, 2oz, 3oz, 4oz, etc.
4. The suppliers of raw materials are and commonly used: Shengyi / Jiantao / international, etc. The price effect of drilling is not as big as that of dielectric, but if the hole is too many and too small, the price will be calculated separately. For example, the price of hole diameter less than 0.1 will be higher.

 

Process cost:

1. To see the line, such as line space line width (in 4 / 4mm) below, the price will be calculated separately.
2. There is BGA, the cost will rise relatively.
3. To see what kind of surface finishing treatment process, we often have: HASL, HASL LEAD-FREE, OSP, ENIG, HARD GOLD and so on. Of course, different surface processes will lead to different prices.
4. It also depends on the process standard; We often use IPC 2, but some customers have higher requirements (such as Japanese capital). We often use IPC2, IPC3, enterprise standard, military standard, etc. of course, the higher the standard, the higher the price.
5. Finally, it depends on the shape of PCB. For example, we usually use milling shape in general, but some boards are very complex in shape, so we have to open the mold and use punching, so there will be a set of mold costs.
