1. Product demand positioning

First of all to analyze your own product needs positioning, must be clear about these details.

Plate material, process requirements, purchase quantity evaluation, brand or quality requirements, supplier location requirements, supplier scale requirements, material delivery time.

First of all, it depends on what type of PCB the product needs. Secondly, it depends on the difficulty of your PCB process and looks for the one with the corresponding process ability. If your company do batch fast products, delivery time is urgent, you look for fast delivery, stable quality, if your company do high-end plate, high precision plate, look for industry leader.

2. Create a supplier pool

3. Supplier analysis

In this process, it can be judged from the following dimensions: supplier's product capacity (manufacturing capacity), supplier's capacity, production quality management, supplier's supply chain management ability, and supplier's anti-risk ability.

In the first step of demand analysis, we talked about the process requirements, to find the factory with the process capacity matching the process required of suppliers and their ability to resist risks. To put it bluntly, well-capitalized factories are more resilient to risk.

 

4. Supplier decision-making
